Aaron "Double A" Ausmus is a former collegiate strength coach and national champion thrower. AA has hit the highest of highs and lowest of lows on his journey as a collegiate strength and conditioning coach.
AA is a battle hardened strength coach. He's worked with USC, Tennessee, Idaho, Ole Miss, and North Texas. He's knows what it's like to work with some of the worlds best coaches and athletes. He's experienced first hand what it is like to be on top of the world one day and knocked on your ass the next.
He went from winning a national championship to being out of the job with no work in sight. It was an eye opening experience.
The collegiate S&C world is an unforgiving one.
It wasn't until AA was out of a job, trying to provide for his family when he realized he didn't have any "substance" behind his accomplishments. He had so much on his resume but no one would hire him.
That's when he sat back, put pen to paper, and developed his philosophy.
This provided him a platform to educate teams on what he was all about, and was his springboard back to the top.
AA currently works with strength and conditioning equipment manufacturer and retailer, Sorinex. He now finds himself in college and professional S&C weight rooms laying out floor plans and installing state of the art facilities.
After AA's talk, he sat down with 10 Year NFL veteran and Power Athlete CEO John Welbourn and good friend Ed Cosner for an unfiltered, uncut Q&A session.
